Reviewing a manuscript written by researchers/scientist/faculties is a highly privilege. Journal of Applied Science, Innovation & Technology (JASIT) follows to a single-blind peer-review process that is rapid, fair, and ensures a high quality of articles published. In so doing, JASIT needs reviewers who can provide insightful and helpful comments on submitted manuscripts with a turnaround time of about 3 to 7 weeks. Maintaining JASIT as a scientific journal of high quality depends on reviewers with a high level of expertise.

REVIEWERS’ RESPONSIBILITIES

If you are invited by JASIT to review a manuscript, please consider the following points/steps:

1. Review manuscript constructively and prepare detailed comments about the manuscript to help authors improve their work.
2. Make recommendations to the editor regarding the suitability of the manuscript for publication in the journal.
3. Declare to the editor any potential conflicts of interest with respect to the authors or the content of a manuscript they are asked to review.
4. Reporting any duplications of manuscript with a published work.
5. Treat the manuscript as a confidential document.
6. Please do not communicate directly with authors.
7. Do not pass on the assigned manuscript to another reviewer.

WHAT SHOULD BE CHECKED WHILE REVIEWING A MANUSCRIPT?

1. Novelty
2. Originality
3. Scientific reliability
4. Valuable contribution to the science
5. Ethical aspects
6. Structure of the article submitted and its relevance to authors’ guidelines
7. Suitability of references
8. Grammar, punctuation and spelling.
9. Check title of the submitted manuscript using google scholar, PubMed etc.
